The Answers You Need

Rule: 1g of tea per 1oz

Although bitter is better when it comes to tea, do not over steep. This can result in extracting too much of the bitter and astringent compounds causing an unbearable taste for beginners.

*Remember the hotter the temperature, the shorter you steep...the lower the temperature the longer you steep

Using water that hasn't fully boiled can result in flat tasting tea.
